A visit with family in Reno

I'm on a one-week, whirlwind, family visiting trip. First stop was Reno where I taught my sister-in-law how to tangle. Here is our small mosaic.

She also took me to the Nevada Museum of Art where we saw a few very interesting exhibits, including The Horse (a traveling show all about, well, the horse), and an exhibit by artist Cedra Wood, whose work defies description, or at least merits a longer blog post than I can manage this morning.

Outside the museum, I saw an intriguing sculpture that reminded me of tipple. Yes, I do see patterns in the world in terms of Zentangle now. More later...maybe.
