Rachel's drawing, phase 2
I am less bothered by the center, now that the space is filled in with pattern, but I am still not at all convinced that this ensemble will turn out well. It's often the case: the overall structure is clear enough because of the string, but the drawing moves forward with no particular plan for specific patterns.
As repeating themes emerge, it's often good to notice and run with them. Clear visual rhythms are pleasing to create and to view. Binaries are also good to keep in mind: open and closed, tight and loose, dark and light. Some monitor within strives to balance these elements, or to shake them up. Both paths are fun.
