Learning to go with the flow

Drawing is good to do at night when I feel physically tired but too mentally awake to settle down. This is an example of a tile structured by a frameless string. Lately, I understand better how to break rules in ways that create images that work. I feel freer to adapt tangles as needed to whatever I am creating instead of getting distracted by how I believe they are supposed to be drawn. I sometimes get tangled up in limiting beliefs in life, especially when I am trying to do something "right." Zentangle has been a good practice for me to begin noticing this habit of mind and remembering to relax.
